DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement and administer employee policies and promote positive employee relations.
• Manage and monitor performance-related issues and implement changes that could increase productivity.
• Work towards improving company policies and procedures.
• Be well-versed in laws and regulations regarding hiring and terminations.
• Conduct Check Ins with new employees
• Conduct Exit Interviews
• Assist with creating and maintaining Learning Management System (LMS) content.
• Assist with onboarding activities.
• Assist with employee Visa/ Sponsorship applications.
• Be involved with Universities/ Colleges to develop internship programs.

REQUIREMENTS

• 2 years of experience in HR
• Knowledge and expertise in HR policies and procedures
• A strong understanding of best practices and current regulations specific to HR
• Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills
• Self- starter and highly motivated
• An innovative and ‘make it happen’ attitude
• Exceptional ability to function in a team environment, superior communication, organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in MS Office Products
• SHRM or PHR Certification an asset
• Experience in UKG, strong asset
• Must have a reliable means of transportation and a valid Driver’s license
